As Seen in People Magazine: Emily wears the Krishna

Even after 15 seasons, some of us continue to watch the romantic drama unfold every Monday on The Bachelor.  This past week, in the finale episode, Brad Womack proposed to the sweetest girl on the show, single mother and beautiful southern belle - Emily.  Whether their relationship leads to marriage, we were excited to spot the new couple canoodling in the pages of this week's People Magazine.  In this photo, Emily wears the Charles David KRISHNA - a flat, Indian-inspired sandal that comes in natural and black leather.

Who What Wear x Charles David, March Look of the Day

Who What Wear's new blog offers a ton of inspiration for us style seekers.  Today's Look Of The Day, presented by Charles David, features Lauren Conrad in a Spring-ready outfit.  She hits the streets of L.A. wearing a flirty, floral dress by Lucca Couture with a honey-colored bag, belt and shoes.

As the days become longer and the blossoms begin to bloom, re-create this look with your favorite frock and the LAURA, a wooden platform sandal from our Made In Italy collection.  The shoe is great with or without socks and is now available in brown and cognac leather.

Best Supporting Actress - Melissa Leo's Sniper

Hollywood's biggest night brought out this year's best talent.  The King's Speech, Inception, The Fighter and Black Swan came out on top as the evening's big winners at the 83rd Academy Awards.  For Best Supporting Actress, the Oscar went to Melissa Leo for her acclaimed performance in boxing drama, The Fighter

94 year-old, Kirk Douglas, welcomed Melissa to the stage with a compliment, "you're pretty good looking yourself".  Melissa traded in her brassy character for a softer look, shining in a custom-made Marc Bouwer lace gown complimented with Charles David SNIPER platform heels.

Empire State of Mind

Our good friends at People Stylewatch sent us this photo posted above.  To grab people's attention during Fashion Week, the magazine wrapped pages of its March issue around a prominent building in Times Square.  Look carefully to see who made the wall!... our GRAYDEN is well over 2 feet tall soaring above the hustle and bustle of New York City.

Thanks PSW!  We appreciate the love.

In return, here's a song lyric that comes to mind to take you through the day -

"These vagabond shoes.  They're longing to stray. Right through the very heart of it - New York. New York." - Frank Sinatra

As Seen In Who What Wear: Pink About It

For Valentine's Day, Who What Wear put together a fashion editorial inspired by 80's icon 'Andie Walsh' - Molly Ringwald's character in Pretty In Pink.  The SPIRE made the cover look, shown here with a polka dot dress and ankle socks.  The spread is a little girly and bit offbeat but it gets us in the mood for adding feminine touches to more basic pieces for a modern feel.

Marc Jacobs Polka Dot Embroidery Cap Dress with Crinkle Silk Lining ($1295) in Blush, Alexander Wang Ribbed Crew Neck Shirt ($475) in Nude, stylist's own vintage hat, Tory Burch Mclane Mini Messenger ($365) in Honey, Giles & Brother Railroad Spike Cuff ($88) in Brass, We Love Colors Solid Color Nylon Socks ($3.50) in White, Charles David Spire Lace-Ups ($250) in White.

We're going to Hollywood

... West Hollywood, that is.  Just yesterday we posted a billboard on the famed Sunset strip across from the Chateau Marmont and next door to the Standard Hotel.  This outdoor ad, the first of many, features our new Spring/Summer campaign.

We've already received a number of calls asking where to find the shoes pictured above.  They are the SPIRE in bone perforated leather and have just arrived in our stores.  These heeled oxfords look great with a suit or wear them with a wide leg pant.  They may even look cute with a short ankle sock and mid-length skirt.  There's so many options with just one shoe.

Tell us how you would wear the Spire on Facebook or Twitter.
